Auth flow not enabled for this client

The Auth flow not enabled for this client error occurs if you have not enabled username password auth for admin APIs for authentication. To enable it, do the following:

  1. Under User pools, click your user pool name.
  2. Next, click on the App Integration tab.
  3. Under the App clients and analytics, click your client name.
  4. Edit App client information.
  5. From the Authentication flows dropdown, also select ALLOW_ADMIN_USER_PASSWORD_AUTH
  6. Click the Save changes button.
